Content of the Class
This course focuses on the writing of poetry. The approach is workshop tutorial. Students will read and critique each other’s works; they will also read works by currently publishing poets.
ENGAGEMENT
Google Comments
Having students share their poems in Google folders helps them to dive deeper into their critiques of each other’s work. They also collaborative with each other during a variety of workshops and discussions during the class.
TECHNOLOGY
Shared Google Folder
Students write their poems inside shared Google Folders to allow others in the class to comment on their posts. This allows students to communicate with each other and see everyone’s feedback.
